Hello
I help transitioners to embrace the phase of life they are in by allowing them to reflect, get perspective, dream and plan.

I live in Bristol with my family and coach via zoom and sometimes in person for local clients.
My Story
I trained as a coach following a conversation with a friend who had done a coaching course at work and I had a lightbulb moment - that’s what I should be doing! It didn’t come out of nowhere: I have always enjoyed learning about self improvement. I reflect regularly on life each month and year. My friends see me as someone to talk to and give them new perspectives. The other thing that influenced me was taking part in group coaching myself. It was a powerful realisation that everyone has different values and strengths, and therefore our goals and the shape of our lives is unique to us.

Since I was young I've been struck by the idea that ‘we only live once’ and ‘this is not a dress rehearsal’ and I want to put a positive spin on this for my clients. I want to help them to live their best life. However I am aware that we go through different phases in life and each one has different priorities and challenges. This is why I want to coach clients who are transitioning from one phase to another. Personally I have transitioned into adulthood and into parenthood, and am now approaching midlife. In the future I will experience kids leaving home, and retirement. I love being coached too, it always opens up new possibilities for me.

In my career I have worked in managerial roles within the healthcare industry and currently support school governors administratively. I've taken opportunities to do different roles depending on the phases of my own life, like working for a quantity surveying firm when my husband and I lived in Melbourne, and teaching Hypnobirthing to groups of new parents while I was focused on my young children.
I bring my strengths in organisation, communication and thinking analytically to my coaching practice.

I am convinced that through giving my clients the calm space to be listened to and reflect, they can find focus and purpose for their new phase, and get what they want from the next few years. I enjoy bringing relflection and review into my coaching sessions. My style is to emphasise meaning and allow space for realisations so that my clients feel empowered and use their learnings to decide on their next steps. I love to link their progress back to their overall goals which tends to leave them feeling energised and positive.
