Growing up the only one of these I knew about was adolescence, becoming a teenager (or 'Kevina' as my Mum used to call me). Now it's clearer that for women there are more phases during which hormone changes impact our experience. Matrescence: becoming a mother. Massive hormonal changes and a huge shift in your identity. Menopause: there is so much brilliant information out there now about the perimenopausal phase in which your hormones have an impact on your body and mind, at a natural time of re-evalutation and new perspectives.

What does all this mean for you? When you or your partner are in one of these phases you may feel your priorities and desires change. Doing things the same way you have before now might not serve you. You may need new boundaries and discover new strengths.
Having gone through my own matrescence I felt a bit lost. What I was striving for before becoming a mother didn't seem as important. I didn't enjoy the same things. But I wasn't only a Mother, I was still me, but a different me. My first expereince of coaching came a few years into motherhood when I signed up for a course with the fantastic Mama Coaching. During the course I identified my values. Knowing them gave me the grounding I needed to make decisions and point me in the direction of things that bring me joy and stabillity.
Coaching could be the difference between feeling lost or empowered. Whether you are entering a new phase anticipating change and redirection, or you are a few years in like I was, let's addresss it, and tailor it so you can live your best life.
A time of review, reflection and planning for the future will mean you can move into your new phase with confidence and purpose.
