Who doesn't love a list?
(I love lists)

What other lists do you keep apart from a To-Do?
I recently wrote a quick list of 'ways to connect in Autumn.' It sounds a bit cheesy now I've typed it out, but I was feeling a need for connection in the family as we go through a few challenges and I knew just having the word 'connection' in my head might not lead to action.
Here is my 'Autumn connection' list:
Hot chocolate
Firepit
Wildlife programmes
Stictly and Bake off
Crafts; clay, snowflakes
Baking gingerbread
Write up all of our nice plans for the next few months
Notice how the last one is actually a new list - the power of lists!
All of these things are small, and we may have done some of them anyway, but having written them down solidifies the intention. I can refer back to it when I don't have the headspace for an idea. And if we do all of them (even most of them) it will really make a difference to the next couple of months.

Notes
Are you someone who keeps a lot of notes on your phone?
What is important about these? Often it's inspiration: we've seen or heard something we want to hold onto and bring into our life in some way.
We know we can't keep all of these things in our heads so we list them in our phones because we know it's important and might make a difference to future you, or someone you know.
What meaningful lists have you made?
Some ideas...
People I want to call or message
My best holiday memories
Fun things I want to do in the next year
Podcast recommendations from friends
A bucket list!
Coaching
In coaching sessions one of the most fun parts is making a list of all the options you can think of to help you reach your goal. This brainstorm isn't committing you to action, but thinking outside the box and helping you to see there are many ways to make progress. Afterwards we will choose the one(s) right for you so you go away with something concrete. If you want to learn more about this, book in for a free chat with me.
